Sharissa Patanapanich is a recent college graduate from Iowa State University. She holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture.
Growing up living in a hotel in Thailand, Sharissa was exposed to outdoor settings and was influenced to learn more about the natural environment at a young age. She has spent most of her life in the Midwest, but her travel experiences worldwide continued to inspire an interest in the various meanings and values of different places. During her studies, Sharissa spent some time abroad in London, England where she focused on studying sustainability and grew a new appreciation for architecture. Previously working at a plant nursery, she is fostering her growing passion for plants by starting her career with DWY.
Sharissa believes that landscape architecture is the perfect combination of art and environmental justice and is passionate about activating spaces for new experiences.
