Mitchell joined DWY after graduating from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree. His studies and experience allowed him to work alongside a variety of professional fields consisting of civil and transportation engineers, ecological impact consultants, and nationally recognized land developers. Throughout his academic studies, Mitchell was the recipient of multiple scholarships and awards, including an ASLA Florida Student Award for his historic Key West-inspired resort concept.

In his role as project manager at DWY, Mitchell emphasizes collaboration and attention to detail. His also brings a swift technological understanding to aid each step of the design process. As a Gainesville, Florida, native, Mitchell is able to expand upon DWY's regional proficiency and offer an acute admiration for North Central Florida's rich ecological fabric.
