The landscape design for this residence works in harmony with modern architectural forms to draw the lush vegetation through the home. Settled in a calm neighborhood outside downtown Sarasota, the eager clients immediately engaged the landscape architect to create an oasis among a tightly knit urban fabric. The resulting spaces were developed in a series of opportunities stemming from collaboration amongst the design team and builders. Through careful study of the interior spaces and the relation to the outdoors, auditory and visual moments of stimulation were introduced to balance the rich plant palette with the clean contours of the architecture.
